Luxury Pools in New York City

Luxury rooftop pools have summertime in New York City all figured out with two of the best outdoor activities: rooftop lounging with exquisite bars and beautifully manicured pools! It’s easy to assume coming across a pool in New York City could be a bit of a hassle, but there are plenty of luxury pools in the five boroughs. In fact, if you live in a Glenwood building, there’s a chance you have a pool right outside your apartment door! For everyone who is need of some sunny bliss, grab your pool towel and sunscreen as we relax at these rooftop pools!
What these pools have in common: You don’t need to stay overnight at a hotel to have access, and you don’t need to purchase a full season’s membership – which makes for the perfect day out! It’s as easy as showing up, paying for a day pass, and kicking back to catch some sun.

Le Parker Meridien
If you want to have a true day of luxury, look no further than Midtown Manhattan’s Le Parker Meridien. With the purchase of a day pass ($150), you’ll have access to high end amenities, such as their gravity fitness center, fluffy spa towels, floor to ceiling windows with views of Central Park, and an outdoor sundeck. I can tell you first hand, this place is perfect for tanning with a great new book in hand! If you strike up an appetite, you’ll have access to a full menu of snacks and beverages to order throughout the day.

Beach at Dream Downtown
The Beach at Dream Downtown is as close to the Hamptons as you can get – and stay in Manhattan. Along with a South Hampton vibe, you can expect luxurious private cabanas, complete with flat screen televisions, which are $1,500 for a daily rental.
If you don’t need the entire cabana, day passes run for $65, and you can be assured you’ll have access to fun inflatable floats (makes for a great picture!), ginormous drinks (rumor has it there’s a 10 pound Mocow Mule waiting to be ordered), and of course comfortable beach chairs for plenty of poolside lounging.
Another perk about the Beach? With 4,800 square feet of imported sand, it’s the largest pool in NYC!

The William Vale
If your pool day involves swimming alongside a beautiful view of Manhattan, look no further than Williamsburg’s own William Vale. This gorgeous pool wins the award for being the longest hotel outdoor pool in Brooklyn, and has views for days!
Here’s what you get for a $45 weekend day pass:
- Access to a 60 foot outdoor pool
- Stunning views of the Manhattan skyline
- Poolside served cocktails, light fare, and snacks
- A luxury lounge chair
- All the sun you’d like!
